Her mother was Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of the mobile operator Verizon. Her father was a businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an internet network business. She was born in an exclusive Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan with an elitist Catholic family. Because of this, her parents were enrolled in into the Convent of the Sacred Heart an eminent religious school. The girl was a lover of music as an infant. She learned how to play the piano and at the age of thirteen, she wrote her first song. She performed in open mic nights. Her top singers were queens Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. Upon completion of high school she entered the New York University's Tisch School of Art to study music. She didn't complete her studies. Instead, she started the career path of a musician.
